IS the academy adding any youth competitive soccer teams or players?
Yes. Boys and girls born in 2009 - 2018 are eligible to tryout for the 2024 - 2025 competitive soccer year. Tryouts will occur on June 7 - 9, 2024.

How much does it cost?
There is no cost to tryout.
For the 2024 - 2025 season, which runs from July 2024 through May 2025, the annual costs are estimated to be $1,435 per player, itemized as follows:
--Player card/registration: $20
--Academy fee: $85
--Uniforms: $135
--Fall league: $75
--Spring league: $75
--Annual coaching fee: $522.50 (i.e., 11 months x $47.50 per month = $522.50)
--Annual practice field rental: $522.50 (i.e., 11 months x $47.50 per month = $522.50)***
--Estimated annual total: $1,435
***Includes approximately 2-3 hours of in-season training July - October and April - May, as well as approximately 2 hours of winter training November - March.
The estimated amounts may vary a little ($150 to $300) depending on whether teams choose to play in optional tournaments, and whether teams choose to play indoor leagues during the winter season.
Why DO OTHER CLUBS COST so much?
Why do BSSA's opponents cost 2-3 times more than BSSA? It's a good question, and we don't know the answer. We are 100% certain, however, that spending insane amounts of money on youth soccer doesn't result in better players. Our teams prove this every weekend on the field. At BSSA, you can't buy playing time, field positions, or roster spots. We don't care where you come from, who your family knows, or what anyone else has told you. At BSSA, everything has to be earned through effort, ability, and teamwork. We aim to provide our players with objective development at an incredible value....and those who commit to our process see rapid growth and improvement.
