About BSSA

Blue Springs Soccer Academy was founded by local soccer standouts Ari Rodopoulos and Nick Howard to provide an advanced, affordable option for youth soccer players in Jackson County, Missouri.

Ari and Nick were childhood friends who grew up playing soccer together. They played on the same teams all the way from recreational soccer to competitive soccer and high school soccer. One of their highlights playing together was leading Blue Springs High School to the Missouri Class 4A State Championship tournament.

key features of BSSA

The Academy is intended for aspiring youth soccer players (and their families) who:

have already played at least one season of recreational soccer;
seek to participate in competitive soccer but at an affordable price;
prefer to have all practices at nearby locations;
wish to avoid the politics, excessive fees, and arrogance common to many youth soccer clubs;
still play other sports;
want to receive advanced coaching in a fun but competitive and challenging environment;
want to stay together with players who will likely play for the same high school team; and
are more interested in actual, objective improvement than labels, titles, and status.
